WhatsApp raises minimum age to 16 in update to privacy terms

WhatsApp has raised the minimum age for using the app in the EU to 16, as part of an update of its terms and conditions to implement the EU's General Data Protection Regulation taking effect next month. Previously it required users to be at least 13 years old.
