WhatsApp rolls out updated camera features

Facebook-owned messaging application WhatsApp has announced that its latest update introduces a number of new camera-oriented features designed to help users customise and improve their photos and videos. New tools include the ability to write or draw on photos and videos, change the colour and font style of text and add emoji, features popularised by messaging rival Snapchat. Additional features include a front-facing "flash" that brighten up the screen and improves photo quality in low light and at night, plus a zooming feature for recording videos.
