Wi-Fi Alliance has introduced Wi-Fi Certified EasyMesh certification programme, a standards-based approach to deploying adaptable networks made up of multiple access points from different vendors. This would enable users to extend Wi-Fi coverage through a larger service area, more than with a single access point. Users would then be able to ensure fast, wide and reliable coverage.
