Wi-Fi Alliance names Roytblat as head of Regulatory affairs

Wi-Fi Alliance appointed Alexander Roytblat as senior director of worldwide regulatory affairs. In this newly created role, Roytblat will lead Wi-Fi Alliance engagement with regulatory bodies around the world. The appointment comes at an important time for the Wi-Fi community, as topics ranging from spectrum allocation, fair coexistence, and the addition of new technologies promise to influence the wireless landscape, the organisation said.
