Wind Hellas raises new financing, prepares TV launch

Wind Hellas' shareholders have increased the Greek operator's share capital to EUR 25 million after a successful rights issue. Through a bond issue on international markets, Wind further enhanced its liquidity. The company said the new financing will support its five-year investment programme to 2021 that focuses on LTE upgrades and fixed-line expansion in VDSL and FTTx, as well as the introduction of television content in the near future.
