Wind Tre inks cybercrime deal with Italian police

Italian operator Wind Tre has signed a new a cooperation agreement with the country's state police to prevent and combat cyber attacks on its networks and information systems. Under the terms of the deal, the institutions will work together to exchange information on potential cyber attacks, with monitoring activity carried out by the CNAIPIC, Italy's cybercrime unit responsible for protecting the country's critical IT infrastructure. The deal was signed by chief of police Franco Gabrielli and Wind Tre CEO Jeffrey Hedberg.
