Windows Phone sales grow but Android, Apple still lead

Android and Apple continued to dominate smartphone sales in the second quarter, although Windows Phone posted its highest ever level of 8.2 percent across the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain, according to Kantar Worldpanel ComTech. Windows Phone was largely driven by lower priced Nokia smartphones such as the Lumia 520 and now represents one in 10 smartphone sales in the UK, France, Germany and Mexico.
