Windstream brings faster broadband to rural areas of Nebraska

Windstream was awarded approximately USD 2.2 million in high-cost support by the Nebraska Public Service Commission to expand access to Kinetic Internet in 13 of its exchanges in the state. Support from the Nebraska Universal Service Fund (NUSF) administred by the Nebraska Public Service Commission helps make broadband deployment possible in rural areas that would not otherwise be economically feasible because of the limited customer base.
