Wireless Telecommunications Bureau appoints chief engineer

The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau of the Federal Communications Commission has appointed Chris Helzer as chief engineer for the Bureau. Before joining the front office of the Wireless Bureau, Helzer previously worked as an engineer in the Broadband Division in the Bureau. Prior to joining the Commission in 2011, Helzer worked nineteen years in the cellular industry, including five years as partner at Wireless Strategy, a consulting company focusing on executive engineering services.
