Wobcom offers Devolo Giga Bridge to connect fibre lines in basements with routers

Wobcom, a subsidiary of the Wolfsburg utility firm, said it is now offering customers the new Devolo Giga Bridge product to connect fibre-optic lines in their basements with their home router. The fibre line ends at the Optical Network Termination (ONT) in customer basements, creating a gap as the ONT and router are not connected. Wobcom's product uses the existing cable network to transport data through the house at gigabit speeds.
