Works councils at Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone and Telefonica say United Internet's 5G plans threaten jobs

The works councils of Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone and Telefonica Germany have warned of jobs cut relating to the construction of the 5G network, Handelsblatt reports. United Internet's plan to invest only in cities and to rent infrastructure at low prices in rural areas could cost "thousands of jobs", Vodafone's works council director Dirk Wilharm told Rheinische Post, said Handelsblatt.
