World PC shipments rise more than 26% in Q4

Global shipments of traditional PCs (inclusive of desktops, notebooks and workstations) grew 26.1 percent year over year to 91.6 million units in Q4 2020, according to preliminary results from IDC. The same category of device grew 13.1 percent year over year for the full year 2020, with the catalysts being increased working from home and remote learning, and restored consumer demand.
