Worldwide OTT TV revenues to hit USD 129 bln by 2023

Global over-the-top (OTT) TV revenues will grow from USD 53 billion in 2017 to USD 129 billion in 2023, including USD 16 billion in 2016 alone, according to the latest data from Digital TV Research. Subscription video on demand (SVoD) will remain the largest worldwide OTT revenue source, contributing USD 69 billion by 2023, some 53 percent of the market, up by nearly USD 44 billion over the five-year period. Despite losing market share to SVoD, ad-supported video on demand (AVoD) revenues will increase by USD 27 billion between 2017 and 2023 to reach USD 47 billion, around 36 percent of total
