US cable operator Wow! reported first quarter revenues sliding lower to USD 300 million from 302.3 million the year before, although the net profit jumped to USD 31.9 million from 4.8 million.
The number of homes passed slipped to 3.048 million from 3.094 million at the end of December, with the number of customers declining to 781,000 from 803,000. The number of HSD RGUs decreased to 729,000 from 747,000 while the reported number of video subscribers fell to 474,000 from 501,000.
The operator filed preliminary documents with the SEC earlier this year for its upcoming initial public offering (IPO). The company is aiming to raise up to USD 100 million but market watchers say the amount could reach up to USD 750 million.
