Xiaomi to sell devices in offline retail stores in India

Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has signed a partnership agreement with Redington to start selling its smartphones in brick-and-mortar stores in the Indian offline retail market, The Economic Times reports, citing Manu Jain, Xiaomi's head of Indian operations. The pilot project will cover 10-15 top cities over the next one to two months, starting next week. The model will then be extended to cover all major cities in India.
