Xiaomi to up investments in China in response to anticipated push from Huawei - report

Xiaomi will be shoring up investments in its domestic market, in anticipation of Huawei's push in China to make up its shortfall abroad following the US ban, Bloomberg reported. Xiaomi is looking to put CNY 5 billion (USD 725 million) more into its Chinese retail network over the coming three years, on top of the existing budget for building up retail operations.
