Yahoo detected Russian hacking in 2014 - report

Yahoo executives detected hacking activity in the fall of 2014 from Russian computers, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. It is not known if the 2014 hacking presence was the one responsible for the latest data breach. The news was disclosed when Yahoo informed the public last week about a major hack.
