Yes Telecom acquires Dekatel

Yes Telecom, a subsidiary of KPN on the enterprise market, has acquired rival Dekatel. The takeover is expected to strengthen Yes's position on the SME market, as well as add to its portfolio for fixed telephony and internet services. 

Dekatel offers fixed and mobile services for businesses using the KPN network. It will adopt the Yes Telecom name going forward, while Dekatel customers and partners will continue to receive the same service. No financial details of the takeover were disclosed. Y

es Telecom is an independent subsidiary of KPN. In late 2014 it also acquired the MVNO Mobile Service, and last year it expanded into the UC&C market.
