Yoigo will not cut mobile charges

Spanish mobile operator Yoigo, a TeliaSonera subsidiary, will not reduce its mobile tariffs in the short to medium term, despite losing the leadership position in portability rankings, ADSL Zone reports, citing Per-Arne Blomquist,TeliaSonera's chief financial officer. "The [customers'] perception on Yoigo is that we are a low-cost company, therefore we don't need to cut our rates", the company said.
