Yota to set up LTE device design unit

Russian operator Yota Group is considering designing handsets for other operators. The company plans to focus on various devices supporting LTE, reports Rbcdaily.ru. The final decision on the legal form of the business will be taken by shareholders of the company by the end of the year, according to Denis Sverdlov, the CEO of Scartel. Yota recently announced that its technical proposal for a LTE handset is ready.
