Youfone to launch OTT TV service

Youfone has partnered with Huawei to offer a digital platform with access to live TV, VoD, apps and games, according to director Valentijn Rensing in an interview with Nutech. The company expects to launch the platform by April next year, with a basic subscription at EUR 10 per month. This will include 20 live channels via apps, Apple TV and Chromecast. Catch-up will be available for up to a week for the public and main commercial channels. Smaller channels can be added a la carte, and the video-on-demand plan will cost EUR 2.50 per month.
