Young Swedes watch 71% less traditional TV in first 9 months than in 2010

Traditional TV viewing is falling among young people in the Nordic region, as it has elsewhere, according to Swedish consultancy Mediavision. It said average daily TV viewing among 15 to 24-year-old Swedes had fallen by 71 minutes or 71 percent in the first three quarters of 2019 compared with the same period in 2010. In Finland, viewing has dropped by 58 minutes when comparing Q1-Q3 2010 to Q1-Q3 in 2019. In Norway the figure is 111 minutes, and in Denmark, the decline is 134 minutes.
