YouTube not required to give out private info of illegal uploaders in the EU

YouTube does not have to give the private information of people who illegally upload movies from its video platform, the European Court of Justice said in a ruling. Copyright holders may request a postal address from the uploader of illegal content, but not the email address, IP address or telephone number.
