YouTube steps up fight against terrorist material

Google has opened up on how it's trying to take down terrorist material on YouTube, following a similar step by Facebook. In an opinion piece in the Financial Times and blog posting, the company underlined that it's been working for years on how to address the problem, including employing "thousands" to review content on its platforms and use technology such as image matching and content signals to take down material.
