Zantel offers prepaid internet packages

Tanzania's operator Zantel has launched new prepaid internet packages. The new internet packages on Z Connect have increased capacity from 200MB to 250MB for the same cost. In addition to increasing capacity, the packages are now available on a daily, weekly and monthly subscription. For 250MB a customer can surf the web for 2 and 1/2 hours, check 250 emails and download eight four-minute songs and one four-minute video for TZS 6,000 a day, TZS 8,000 a week and TZS 10,000 a month.
