Ziggo activates Live TV for iPhone, iPod Touch

Dutch cable operator Ziggo has activated a function on its Ziggo TV app which allows customers to watch live television from their devices. With the Ziggo TV app 2.0 app, customers can watch ten Dutch channels on their iPad, iPhone 3GS or 4S, and iPod Touch (3rd or 4rth generation), including Nederland 1, Nederland 2, Nederland 3, RTL 4, RTL 5, RTL 7, RTL8, Net 5, SBS6 and Veronica. The app is free, but customers need a Ziggo internet subscription. The app function will go live in phases on 16 December.
