Ziggo CEO sees room for more deals like Netflix-Comcast

Ziggo is willing to offer third parties customised access to its internet platform for a fee, according to CEO Rene Obermann. The CEO said in an interview with NRC Handelsblad that the cable operator wants to build a platform that can offer high speeds with minimum latency for providers interested in guaranteed network quality. This could include video services like Netflix, or critical services such as security alarms, medical care or remote communication between devices.
