Ziggo, Fox go to court about Eredivisie dispute

Friday 12 May 2017 | 09:24 CET | News
Ziggo has taken Fox to court over its contract with Fox Eredivisie, both parties have confirmed. The dispute concerns the length of the contracts and the level of fees Ziggo has to pay Fox for broadcasting the football channels. The companies have taken legal positions, after 10 months of negotiations and no results, according to Fox. According to a Ziggo spokesperson, subscribers don't have to fear missing the start of the new season "at least not as far as we are concerned. We will do everything we can to avoid Fox channels going black".
