Ziggo launches Multi Wifi business service

Thursday 2 October 2014 | 17:43 CET | News
Ziggo has rolled out its Multi Wifi business service to its first client, the Royal Theatre in The Hague. Ziggo Multi Wifi can complement the LAN system or replace it. The service enables various groups within a single building to use Wi-Fi on their laptop, smartphone or tablet. By adding access points, the coverage of the Wi-Fi network is expanded. Zigo is aimed at business users who still use standalone routers or modems that offer too little coverage and capacity for employees and guests. Ziggo said that one access point can extend the range to 40 metres for an average of 150 users.
