Ziggo losing customers since UPC merger

Dutch cable operator Ziggo has been losing customers since its merger with UPC, due in part to customer complaints about services provision, according to the latest round of talks between the operator and interest group Coax. Ziggo has pledged to communicate better with customers, especially about new services resulting from the merger. Since the harmonisation of the two operators' TV services earlier hits year, customers in the UPC footprint lost three channels - 13th Street, SyFy and E - as the contracts could not be extended.
