Ziggo partners WeCity for Amsterdam Wi-Fi service

Ziggo announced plans to expand Wi-Fi access in Amsterdam, to help deliver information to local tourists. The cable operator will expand the number of street cabinets in tourist areas supporting its Wi-Fi network to provided increased coverage. Non Ziggo customers will be able to use the Wi-Fi services for a nominal fee. WeCity will help run the network, with its own SSID, landing page and an app with information about activities in Amsterdam.
