Ziggo slows customer losses in Q3

Dutch cable operator Ziggo slowed the decline in customers in the third quarter, losing 20,200 in the three months compared to 43,600 in the same period a year ago, for a total 4.013 million at the end of September. The company lost in total 11,300 fixed subscriptions in the period, for a total 9.65 million, or an average 2.40 per customer, up from 2.35 a year earlier. ARPU increased 2.5 percent to EUR 45.73, while total revenues were still down 0.3 percent to EUR 611 million. After an icnrease in costs, operating cash flow was down 3.6 percent to EUR 337 million, and the margin fell to 55.1
