Ziggo WoM score falls after merger

Ziggo's merger with UPC has led to fewer customers of the cable operator saying they would recommend the provider to friends or family. The company's 'word of mouth' score has fallen from 52 in April to 42 in mid-October. The WoM score shows what percentage of current customers would recommend their provider to others. The WoM scores for triple-play services at Ziggo and UPC were always different, with UPC scoring lower. The stronger image of the Ziggo brand was one of the reasons why it was adopted for the merged group by Liberty Global. Ziggo customers benefited from higher broadband speeds
