Zimbabwean active internet and data subscriptions rise 2% in Q2

The total number of active internet and data subscriptions increased by 1.9 percent to 9.2 million in the second quarter, according to a report by the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz). The internet penetration rate rose by 1.2 percentage points to 62.3 percent from 61.1 percent in the previous quarter. Mobile internet traffic climbed by 7.2 percent to 23,436 terabytes from 21,865 terabytes in the previous quarter.
