Zimbabwean government to take over Telecel in August

Zimbabwe's ICT Minister, Supa Mandiwanzira, said the government plans to finalise the acquisition of Telecel in August, Bulawayo 24/7 reports. This comes amid indications that the government had breached its contractual obligations to pay USD 40 million for a 60 percent stake to Vimpelcom by March, it reported.
