Zimbabwean telcos deploy 21 base stations in Q4

Zimbabwean mobile phone operators deployed 21 new 3G and fourteen new LTE eNodeBs base stations in the fourth quarter of 2020, the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) says in its latest report. Of these, two 3G base stations and three LTE eNodeBs were deployed in rural areas. There was no change in the market share of 2G base stations as no new deployments were made.
