Zoom says Zenfone is more popular than Xiaomi in Brazil

Sunday 5 June 2016 | 22:15 CET | News
A survey by Brazilian price comparison site Zoom reveals that smartphones from Asus' Zenfone line are more popular than those of Chinese company Xiaomi. It compared demand for the two most sought-after models from the two manufacturers on Zoom, namely the Zenfone Selfie ZD551KL 32GB and Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL 16 GB from Asus, and the Redmi 2 Pro 16GB 4G and Redmi 2 8 GB 4G from Xiaomi. It found that the two most popular devices from Asus had 143 percent more searches than the most frequently searched Xiaomi devices in the past two months of 2016.
