ZTE interested in buying Nokia's factory in Romania - report

ZTE is interested in taking over Nokia's plant in Jucu, Cluj county, Romania, after the factory's closure, writes local daily newspaper Ziarul Financiar citing the president of the Cluj county council Alin Tise. He said Nokia hired a consultancy company to negotiate the sale of its factory in Jucu. Terapia Ranbaxy, one of the largest Romanian pharmaceutical companies located in Cluj-Napoca, Cluj county, also showed interest to purchase Nokia's halls in Jucu, Tise said. Nokia will close its factory in Cluj, Romania, by the end of this year, resulting in the loss of 2,200 jobs
