ZTE looking to grow Italy revenue to EUR 500 mln in 5 years

China's ZTE is hoping to double sales to EUR 60 million this year before accelerating to EUR 500 million in five years' time, according to ZTE Italy managing director Kun Hu. In an interview with business daily Il Sole 24 Ore, Hu described the Italian economy as "interesting… and very dynamic" and said ZTE is hoping to grow in the local market by focusing on smartphones, the Internet of Things and mobile and fixed-line telecommunications infrastructure.
