ZTE said revenues for 2019 rose a bit over 6 percent from the year before to CNY 90.74 billion, with the operating revenue jumping 16.7 percent to CNY 66.58 billion. The net profit soared almost 174 percent to CNY 5.15 trillion, or CNY 1.22 per basic share.
The company put its focus in the year on 5G, with R&D costs increasing to 13.8 percent of operating revenues, or CNY 12.55 billion, from 12.8 percent in 2018.
Looking forward amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the company said it will put its focus on stable corporate operations and continue promoting large-scale 5G deployments and win-win 5G ecosystems with customers and partners.
