ZTE unveils Android smartphone with Intel processor
ZTE announced a new Android smartphone running an Intel Atom processor. The ZTE Grand X IN will launch Europe in September. The Android 4.0 phone runs a Z2460 Atom processor and Intel XMM 6260 modem platform to support HSPA+ at up to 21Mbps. It comes with a 4.3-inch screen, 8MP camera, 1650 mAh battery, Wi-Fi & Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and Mobile HD link (via micro-USB). ZTE announced in February a partnership with Intel to be one of the first manufacturers to launch a smartphone running Intel chips. ZTE will be demonstrating the Grand X IN handset at the Ifa trade show in Berlin.
