Apple has announced it will launch its HomePod wireless speaker in China this month. HomePod will be available starting 18 January in mainland China and Hong Kong markets in white and space gray. HomePod is available in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico and Spain. HomePod is compatible with iPhone 5s or later, iPad Pro, iPad Air or later, iPad mini 2 or later, or iPod touch (6th generation).
The new model supports Mandarin, the official language on Mainland China and Cantonese. The China version of the HomePod also supports AirPlay 2, enabling users to stream audio content from apps and services directly from an iOS device to HomePod.
