BlackBerry names Louks to lead product development
BlackBerry announced that Ron Louks will join the company as President, Devices and Emerging Solutions. Louks comes from OpenNMS Group, where he was CEO, and previously worked as strategy chief at HTC America and CTO of Sony Ericsson. He will focus on BlackBerry's long-term product roadmap, including hardware, software and design, as well as the company's joint development efforts with customers, carriers and partners. Louks reports to BlackBerry CEO John Chen.

John Chen has dropped "interim" from his title as chief executive of BlackBerry.
