Cellnex to buy more mobile sites from Altice Portugal - report
Cellnex Portugal continues to strengthen its presence in Portugal. After purchasing mobile antennas from Altice Portugal (Meo) and Nos in 2020, it is acquiring more sites from Altice, reports Jornal de Negocios citing sources familiar with the deal. Altice Portugal will sell 223 macro sites and 464 micro sites (DAS and small cells) to the Spanish company Cellnex, providing infrastructure for more localised and indoor coverage.

Cellnex to acquire 65 Oni towers in Portugal

Portugal's Competition Authority (AdC) has been notified of the acquisition by Omtel of the exploitation rights of 65 telecommunication towers owned by Portuguese operator Onitelecom. The assets are operated by Oni under a contract for assignment of use between Brisa - Concessao Rodoviaria and Oni, valid until the end of 31 December 2035.

Portuguese operator Nos said it completed the sale of Nos Towering to Cellnex Portugal, a deal which includes approximately 2,000 sites.
