The Consumer Electronics Show, an annual event held by the US Consumer Technology Association in Las Vegas in January, has decided to go virtual for its 2021 edition. The CTA said the all-digital event will take place on the usual dates of 6-9 January and feature the latest product demonstrations and launches as well as networking opportunities for global brands and start-ups. More details will be announced closer to the event.
The announcement is the latest industry event to go virtual due to the coronavirus pandemic and related restrictions on large gatherings. CES last year attracted over 4,400 exhibitors and 170,000 visitors and claimed over 20,000 new product debuts.
