
Cisco said the system offers a standard, familiar look and feel, optimises bandwidth use, ensures the same level of security and also works with lower-cost, standard Cisco UCS hardware. Cisco Meeting Server is available to order now, with Cisco Capital financing provided in over 100 countries.
The new service is a result of Cisco's acquisition earlier this year of Acano, a developer of video and audio bridging technology that allows customers to connect video systems from multiple vendors across both cloud and hybrid environments. The company said it plans to introduce more products based on Acano technology soon.
