Dutch reach 100 mln contactless payments mark
The Netherlands marked its 100 millionth contactless payment, on Saturday, 14 November, the Dutch Payments Association said. Most contactless payments (over 90%) are for EUR 25 or less. The association said that the number of contactless payments has soared in recent months. Of the 300,000 payment terminals in use in the Netherlands, more than one third can be used for contactless payments. The number amounted to 6 the year before.

Honderd miljoen contactloze betalingen in Nederland

Op zaterdag 14 november heeft in Nederland de honderd miljoenste contactloze betaling plaatsgevonden.
