Eleven Sports will bring Bundesliga live streaming on Facebook to Poland

Eleven Sports, in cooperation with Bundesliga International, the sales and marketing arm of the German Football League (DFL), will bring Bundesliga live streaming on Facebook to Poland, starting with the match between Bayer 04 Leverkusen and FC Bayern Munchen on 12 January.

So far this season, Eleven Sports has shown close to 100 Bundesliga games, 68 Bundesliga 2 games and the German Supercup. Thanks to the popularity of Bundesliga, Eleven Sports continues to grow in Poland with the platform’s services regularly named among the best performing sports channels in the market with viewers aged 16 to 49 this season according to figures from Nielsen.

The upcoming Bundesliga live stream on Eleven Sports’ Polish Facebook platform comes just three weeks after Eleven Sports set a first in Belgium by live streaming the Ligue 1 fixture between PSG and Caen on Facebook. Eleven also recently delivered Ivy League Football on Twitter in the US, Singapore National Soccer on Facebook in Singapore, and ACB Liga Endesa Basketball on Facebook across five different markets.

Mobile leads growth in German advertising market in 2017

Mobile was the fastest growing out of all advertising segments in Germany in 2017, according to new figures from market researcher Nielsen. The mobile segment saw growth of 39.3 percent from 2016, with expenditures on mobile advertising amounting to EUR 0.7 billion in 2017. Online advertising spending increased 2.3 percent to EUR 3.0 billion for the same period, while television ad spending saw growth of only 1.4 percent to EUR 15.3 billion, and radio advertising expenditures grew 4.7 percent to EUR 1.8 bil

Eleven Sports offers 30 percent discount on online TV channels in short-term promotion

Eleven Sports is running a time-limited promotion in Poland, until 26 January, under which customers can order online access to the Eleven Sports channels at a 30 percent discount. The promotion applies for viewing the content online via a PC, mobile device or SmartTV. The promotion requires activation of packages via the broadcaster's website and applying a promotional code.

Eleven channels extend coverage with local cable networks in Poland

Eleven Sports has further extended the coverage of its three channels Eleven, Eleven Sports and Eleven Extra in Poland. After a series of contracts signed with local cable operators in August and September, additional contracts were signed during October and at the beginning of November. As a result, Eleven channels are now available in the offering of 18 local operators.

Eleven changes its Polish channel names

Polish cable operators have announced that the Eleven group will change the names of its channels broadcasting in Poland, reported Media2.pl. Instead of Eleven, Eleven Sports and Eleven Extra, the new names shall be Eleven Sports 1, Eleven Sports 2 and Eleven Sports 3. Before this year is out, the group plans to launch a fourth channel.
