Germany opposes EC probe into Chinese telecoms imports
German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that German was strongly opposed to a trade investigation launched by the EC into imports of Chinese mobile telecoms products, Xinhua reports. Merkel made the comments in a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang during his official visit to Germany. Merkel said that Germany was willing to take firm action against the planned anti-dumping and anti-subsidy probe.
