Google is preparing a takeover bid for online TV service Hulu, people familiar with the discussions told the Los Angeles Times. Google is one of a dozen companies looking at Hulu. The company began presenting its financial information to potential suitors last week after an unsolicited expression of interest prompted the board to consider a sale. Microsoft also is thought to be looking at Hulu, which is owned by Walt Disney, NBCUniversal and News Corp.
